The SAN-AIRtm Air Handler 500gm pack is ideal for large air handlers, typically 2000 Lt/s of air to 4000 Lt/s of air. Place in front of coils or in the space between the intake filters and coil bank after removing the red cap from either side of the block.
Also, use for pre-treatment for mould remediation work.
Examples for use of pack size:
- Ducted systems – place in the return air box
- Air handlers (for example libraries, gyms, open office areas) – place in the return air box
- Basement areas with poor fresh air access.
- Any air handling system which is about to be mould remediated, to reduce risk to personnel, leave 500 gm packs to pretreat equipment for a few days.
Air Volume: up to 4000 Lt/s
Lifetime:
- 4 weeks in use for a larger system (4000 Lt/s),
- up to 12 weeks in smaller ducted systems (1200 Lt/s)
Coverage: Up to 400 square metres
